Up Hatherley, Cheltenham .. 12% return a year!

This came on the market yesterday with Adam's at £176,000.

Looking at pictures, its empty (more pics on the Rightmove link) but with some TLC, I think this would let very easily at £850 per month, depending on what you have to pay for her, the yield will be healthy 5.8% to 6% per year.

Considering average property values have risen by 6.9% in the last 12 months in this part of Gloucestershire, that is a potential 12% a year?

Swindon Close, Cheltenham .. nice apartment with a 6% yield

Young and Gilling have just put this very nice one bed apartment on the market for sale for £105,000.

It will rent, day in day out at £500 per month.Say you can pick this up for £100,000, that's a nice yield of 6%. Link to the property below. I dont think this be around for long

This came on the market yesterday with Adam's at £174,995.

These let for £650 to £675 per month depending on condition. A reasonable yield of 4.7% but with hardly any void periods and decent capital growth, maybe a safe bet for the nervous landlords of Gloucestershire?

Salisbury Road area of Gloucester - 6.3% yield

This Victorian terraced came on the market this morning with Taylors for £110,000 (Rightmove link below). Its clean and tidy (see the link for pics) and will rent for £550 per month until the cows come home.

I have a feeling this wont be on the market for long ... get a viewing arranged sooner rather than later
